With 8 theatres, Calvary offers state of the art technology from Brain Lab for our Neurosurgeons, to a Holmium Laser for our Urological Surgeons. All equipment is constantly upgraded, offering both patients and surgeons with an excellent option for care.
The Calvary theatres perform over 10,000 procedures per year.
Our Lenah Valley campus offers five operating theatres, with the latest technology available for elective, semi-elective and emergency procedures, 24 hours a day.

The theatres are supported by a 10 bed recovery unit with direct access to the critical care unit.
A sterilising department is co-located within the operating suite offering the latest in decontamination and processing technology and providing a service to the whole of the hospital 7 days per week.
Our St Johns Campus has 3 operating theatres, a 10 bay day surgery unit, an 8 bed recovery unit and sterilising unit.
70% of throughput is day surgery specialising in:
- Plastics (including laser)
- Ophthalmology
- Dental
- General
- Gynaecology (including laser)
- Pain procedures
- Paediatrics.
