Community Council
The Calvary Community Council has been established by Calvary Health Care Tasmania to advise it on the management of its community funds. The Council has grown out of the ministry of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, whose values are hospitality, respect, healing and stewardship.
Through the founding philosophy of the Little Company of Mary of ‘being for others,’ within the Catholic Tradition and embedded in Gospel values, the Community Council of Calvary Health Care Tasmania seeks to reach out to our community to provide assistance to people in need. We seek to promote the dignity and worth of people who are poor and marginalised.
The Community Council administers two funds, the Mary Potter Fund and the Community Council Fund.
