Our Fees
All attendances have an additional facility fee. This is an "out-of-pocket" expense (some health funds may cover this fee). If the account is paid in full on the day of your visit a $20 discount applies to this fee.
The fee for your consultation with the Emergency doctor is fully refundable through Medicare.
Some miscellaneous costs may be charged. These include:
- a medication fee
- supply of a fiberglass casts, orthotic splints crutches, and support slings
- Pathology costs (billed separately through Hobart Pathology)
- X-rays (billed separately through MIA Tasmania),
- Specialist consultations.
